Designed and built by Toros and Partners in 2023, Paribu Headquarters presents an innovative and multi layered approach to technology office interior design. Located in Uniq Istanbul and spanning a total area of 2,300 sqm, the project is conceived as a living headquarters that brings together technology, digital culture, art, and innovation, while also reflecting Paribu’s activities in cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies within a broader technological vision.
Founded in 2017, Paribu is a leading technology company based in Turkey, developing digital products and platforms across multiple fields, including financial technologies, cryptocurrency infrastructure, culture, and art. While Paribu is widely known for its role in the crypto ecosystem, the company positions itself primarily as a technology driven organization, investing in innovation, digital experience, and cultural production. This holistic perspective formed the core foundation of the headquarters design.
The primary objective of the project was to create a contemporary, experience oriented technology office where work, creativity, and culture coexist. Digital and conventional artworks distributed throughout the office shape the space as a gallery like working environment rather than a conventional corporate setting. This deliberate integration goes beyond aesthetics, fostering creativity, enriching daily work practices, and strengthening the emotional connection between people and the space.
Technology plays a defining role in the spatial organization of Paribu Headquarters. Digital signage systems installed throughout the office allow flexible and customizable content usage. A large scale curved LED screen positioned at the entrance establishes a strong technological identity from the first moment. Surrounding the common area, a 70 meter long LED ticker displays real time cryptocurrency market data, subtly referencing Paribu’s work in crypto and blockchain without defining the space solely through it. In this project, technology is not hidden infrastructure, but an active and visible design element that shapes the spatial narrative.
To balance the intense digital atmosphere, a strong biophilic design approach was adopted. Social areas and terraces are shaped around the “Paribu Jungle” concept. Located at the heart of the office, this space functions as a multifunctional common area where employees can work, rest, and interact. Botanical layers, natural textures, and organic forms soften the technological language, creating a warm, balanced, and positive working environment that supports well-being and creativity.
Art curation stands out as one of the most distinctive layers of the project. In line with Paribu’s long term commitment to culture and art, each meeting room features works by different artists, transforming these spaces into unique exhibition environments. Digital screens placed along corridors and circulation areas showcase NFT artworks, integrating digital art and blockchain-based production into everyday office life. In addition, special guided art tours are regularly organized within the office, allowing visitors and teams to experience the artworks, installations, and spatial narrative through curated routes.
The office hosts the “Paribu Art Memory” collection, curated by Begüm Güney and Andrea Pecatikov. Comprising 47 digital and conventional artworks from different disciplines, the collection aims to support contemporary art production in Turkey. With its aesthetic and conceptual language, the selection establishes a connection between the past, present, and future, translating Paribu’s optimistic vision into a spatial experience.
Beyond the headquarters, Paribu has also expanded its cultural vision through Paribu Art, an independent platform dedicated to supporting contemporary art, exhibitions, and artistic production. Although Paribu Art operates as a separate initiative, the values, curatorial mindset, and cultural approach developed through Paribu Art directly inform the artistic atmosphere of Paribu Headquarters. This connection reinforces the company’s position at the intersection of technology, art curation, and digital culture.
Artists featured at Paribu Headquarters include Balkan Karışman, Emin Çelik, May Parlar, Buğra Erol, Merve Morkoç, Cem Sonel, Mehmet & Kazım, Bihter Yasemin Adalı, İnci Furni, Ece Eldek, Ece Ağırtmış, Ecem Dilan Köse, Aykut Erol, SENA, Nejat Satı, Erdal İnci, Mehmet Dere, Tutku Bulutbeyaz, Ramazan Can, and Sinem Dişli.
Beyond its design language, the project also stands out for its fast and efficient delivery process. Toros and Partners completed both the interior design and construction phases within a very short timeframe, managing a fully coordinated process from concept to execution. This rapid delivery directly responds to the dynamic nature of technology driven organizations.
Paribu Headquarters has received significant international recognition. In 2024, the project was awarded both the iF Design Award and the Good Design Award, confirming its position as a benchmark for award winning technology office interior design in Istanbul and Turkey.
Bringing together technology, art, digital culture, crypto infrastructure, NFTs, and nature, Paribu Headquarters goes beyond conventional office typologies to become a living and evolving workspace. The project reflects Paribu’s belief in the limitless potential of the future, positioning the headquarters as a reference point for technology offices that value culture, creativity, and innovation.
